De-Shuang Huang is a Professor in Institute of Machine Learning and Systems Biology, EIT Institute for Advanced Study, China. He is currently the Fellow of the IEEE (IEEE Fellow), the Fellow of the International Association of Pattern Recognition (IAPR Fellow), the Fellow of the Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association (AAIA), and associated editors of IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology & Bioinformatics and IEEE Transactions on Cognitive and Developmental Systems, etc. He founded the International Conference on Intelligent Computing (ICIC) in 2005. ICIC has since been successfully held annually with him serving as General or Steering Committee Chair. He also served as the 2015 International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN2015) General Chair, July12-17, 2015, Killarney, Ireland, the 2014 11th IEEE Computational Intelligence in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Conference (IEEE-CIBCBC) Program Committee Chair, May 21-24, 2014, Honolulu, USA. He has published over 470 papers in international journals, international conferences proceedings, and book chapters. Particularly, he has published over 240 SCI indexed papers. His Google Scholar citation number is over 20300 times and H index 76. His main research interest includes neural networks, pattern recognition and bioinformatics. Chair Prof. WANG Jun, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China

Jun Wang is a Chair Professor of Computational Intelligence in the Department of Computer Science and School of Data Science at City University of Hong Kong. Prior to this position, he held various academic positions at Dalian University of Technology, Case Western Reserve University, University of North Dakota, and Chinese University of Hong Kong. He also held various part-time visiting positions at US Air Force Armstrong Laboratory, RIKEN Brain Science Institute, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Dalian University of Technology, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University as a Changjiang Chair Professor. He received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering and an M.S. degree in systems engineering from Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China. He received his Ph.D. degree in systems engineering from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA. His current research interests include neural networks and their applications. He published more than 260 journal papers, 15 book chapters, 11 edited books, and numerous conference papers in these areas. He was the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics. He also served as an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks (1999-2009), IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics and its predecessor (2003-2013), and IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics – Part C (2002–2005), as a member of the editorial advisory board of International Journal of Neural Systems (2006-2013), and a member of the editorial board of Neural Networks (2012-2014) as a guest editor of special issues of European Journal of Operational Research (1996), International Journal of Neural Systems (2007), Neurocomputing (2008, 2014, 2016), and International Journal of Fuzzy Systems (2010, 2011). He was an organizer of several international conferences such as the General Chair of the 13th International Conference on Neural Information Processing (2006) and the 2008 IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence, and a Program Chair of the IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (2012). He has been an IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Distinguished Lecturer (2010-2012, 2014-2016). In addition, he served as President of Asia Pacific Neural Network Assembly (APNNA) in 2006 and many organizations such as IEEE Fellow Committee (2011-2012); IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Awards Committee (2008, 2012, 2014), IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society Board of Governors (2013-2019), He is an IEEE Fellow, IAPR Fellow, a foreign member of Academia Europaea, and a recipient of an IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks Outstanding Paper Award and APNNA Outstanding Achievement Award in 2011, Natural Science Awards from Shanghai Municipal Government (2009) and Ministry of Education of China (2011), Neural Networks Pioneer Award from the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (2014), and Norbert Wiener Award from the IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Society (2019), among others.

Prof. Tianrui Li, Southwest Jiaotong University, China

Tianrui Li received his B.S. degree, M.S. degree and Ph.D. degree from the Southwest Jiaotong University, China in 1992, 1995 and 2002 respectively. He was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Belgian Nuclear Research Centre (SCK • CEN), Belgium from 2005-2006, a visiting professor at Hasselt University, Belgium in 2008, the University of Technology Sydney, Australia in 2009 and the University of Regina, Canada in 2014. And, he is presently a Professor, Deputy Director of Institute of Artificial Intelligence, Deputy Director of National Engineering Laboratory of Integrated Transportation Big Data Application Technology, and the Director of the Key Lab of Cloud Computing and Intelligent Technique of Sichuan Province, Southwest Jiaotong University, China.

Prof. Zhongsheng Hou, Qingdao University, China

Zhongsheng Hou (IEEE Fellow, 2020) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Jilin University of Technology, Jilin, China, in 1983 and 1988, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 1994. From 1995 to 1997, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China. From 2002 to 2003, he was a visiting scholar with Yale University, CT, USA. From 1997 to 2018, he was with Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing, China, where he was a Distinguished Professor and the Founding Director of the Advanced Control Systems Laboratory, and the Head of the Department of Automatic Control. He is currently a Chair Professor and head of the Academy of Sciences Science and Control, Qingdao University, China.

He has authored or coauthored more than 260 peer-reviewed journal papers and more than 160 papers in prestigious conference proceedings. He has authored two monographs, NonparametricModel and its Adaptive Control Theory (Science Press, 1999), in Chinese, and Model Free Adaptive Control: Theory and Applications (CRC Press, 2013). His pioneering work on model-free adaptive control has been verified inmore than 230 different field applications, laboratory equipment and simulations with practical background, including wide-area power systems, lateral control of autonomous vehicles, and temperature control of silicon rod. His works on data-driven learning and control has been supported by multiple projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, including three Key Projects in 2009, 2015, and 2019, and a Major International Cooperation Project in 2012. His research interests include data-driven control, model-free adaptive control, learning control, and intelligent transportation systems.

Prof. Hou is the Founding Director of the Technical Committee on Data Driven Control, Learning and Optimization, Chinese Association of Automation (CAA), and is a Fellow of CAA. He is also an International Federation of Automatic Control Technical Committee Member of both “Adaptive and Learning Systems” and “Transportation Systems.” He was the Guest Editor for two Special Sections on the topic of data-driven control of the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON NEURAL NETWORKS in 2011, and the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS in 2017.

Prof. Yao Liang, Indiana University-Purdue University--Indianapolis, USA

Yao Liang received his B.S. degree in Computer Engineering and M.S. degree in Computer Science from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Clemson University, Clemson, USA, in 1997.

He is currently a Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science, Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), USA. His research interests include wireless sensor networks, Internet of Things, cyberinfrastructure, machine learning, neural networks, open data and model integration, data engineering, and distributed systems. His research projects have been funded by NSF. He has received the 2019 Glenn W. Irwin, Jr., M.D., Research Scholar Award, IUPUI. He also had extensive industrial R&D experiences as a Technical Staff Member in Alcatel USA. He has served regularly on Program Committees for various major international conferences. He was a General Co-Chair of The International Conference on Big Data Engineering (BDE) in 2022, 2021, 2020, and 2019. Dr. Liang has given invited talks and lectures at various universities and conferences in US, Europe and China.
